About SwingIQ

Welcome to SwingIQ—a place where golfers of every skill level can receive personalized instruction from anywhere. Whether you're just getting started, working to break 100, or chasing your lowest scores yet, our mission is simple: help you understand your swing, improve with confidence, and enjoy the game more.

Golf is one of the most rewarding sports in the world, but it can also be one of the most frustrating. With endless swing tips on social media and YouTube, it's easy to become overwhelmed by conflicting advice. One video tells you to keep your head down, another says to rotate more, and another promises a "secret move" that will instantly transform your game. The reality is that there is no single tip or shortcut that works for every golfer.

At SwingIQ, I believe that every golfer has a unique swing, and because of that, every golfer deserves instruction tailored specifically to them. My coaching isn't about forcing you into a textbook-perfect swing—it's about helping you build the best version of your swing.

My Mission

My mission is to make high-quality golf instruction accessible, convenient, and effective for golfers everywhere.

Whether you choose a video swing analysis, a live FaceTime lesson, or an in-person session, you'll receive personalized coaching designed around your individual strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Every lesson focuses on identifying the root cause of swing issues, creating a clear improvement plan, and giving you the tools to continue progressing long after the lesson is over.

We don't believe in quick fixes. We believe in building lasting fundamentals that create consistency, confidence, and better golf.

Meet Your Coach

My name is Stephen Baker, I am from Fairhope, AL, and golf has been a major part of my life for years. I had the privilege of playing collegiate golf at Huntingdon College, one of the premier NCAA Division III golf programs in the country. During my time there, I earned PING NCAA Division III All-American honors twice, competing against some of the top collegiate golfers in the nation.

Those experiences taught me what it takes to improve at a high level—not just physically, but mentally as well. They also reinforced something I've always believed: every golfer learns differently. Great coaching isn't about giving every player the same advice; it's about understanding how each golfer moves, learns, and performs.
